What's good: If you've played Home Sweet Home on your PC, you'll be delighted to hear that this uniquely inventive title is now available for download on your iPhone and iPod touch! Explore your creative potential as you visit various houses and try to design rooms that match your client's taste. This task is far from easy, as clients can be cryptic about their preferences, leaving you to decipher tricky phrases and words that give you just the slightest hint. Apart from that, you're also given a minimum item purchase requirement and a limited budget, so you'll have to plan your work out carefully. When you think you've gotten everything in position, click on the 'Build Now' button and your design team assembles to wait for your instructions. Direct your workers to build items as efficiently as possible to meet the deadline, but keep tabs on their needs - send them on a coffee break once in a while, hand them the tools they need to complete an assignment, and point them to the trash can to prevent litter. Fill up your client's satisfaction meter to earn some cash and move on to the next project. The seamless combination of time management, puzzle-solving, and strategy creates an endlessly entertaining game that's both easy enough to be manageable but hard enough to present a challenge. It's a real steal at just $ 2.99!
Suggestions for improvement: The soundtracks sometimes load slower than the screen when switching from house to house, or from the menu to the village. We'd also love it if there were a view or snapshot feature right after a design project's been completed.
