What’s good: Pocket God is an extremely fun and innovative open-ended microgame where you get to play God. Torture and kill off your vulnerable little pygmies or give them gifts to keep them happy. Direct the weather, island elements, and more using some of the most innovative controls ever to incorporate touch. Pay visits to all the available locations on the map - explore different islands or take your pygmies on an underwater adventure. If you figure out how to make them appear, you can pick fights with a host of crazy enemies - the formidable tyrannosaurus rex, laser-firing shark, barking spider (that's right, just like a dog), and ice monster. You'll also find a hundred other entertaining and mindless things to do - this includes bouncing coconuts on pygmy heads, dropping bird bombs, shark baiting, and zombie spawning. The possibilities are almost endless! With continuous updates, in-app purchasing, challenges, and contests over OpenFeint, this app will get you tapping and flicking like only the best of iPhone games can.

Suggestions for improvement: Finger controls are sometimes not as accurate as they could be, especially when moving objects (pygmies, magnifying glass, etc.) around the islands, causing them to occasionally fall into the water instead.
