What's good: Increasingly, more and more app developers are coming up with new and innovative ideas as the competition gets proportionately tougher. Even so, there are still only a handful of apps that you know are destined for success from the get-go, and Turn: The Lost Artefact is one of them. In this story, two explorers search the world for treasure and your task is to help them achieve their goal. Scattered throughout rooms set in three different environments - the New York harbor, the Amazon jungles, and the North Cape in Norway - are pieces of the lost artefact which you must retrieve to move forward. Here's where the twist comes in. In most of the rooms, you'll find it impossible to accomplish anything from your current position, but it will quickly become apparent that the answer lies in turning. Simply tap the corresponding buttons or use two fingers to change the orientation of the rooms to make your way clearer. Think out these turns strategically to avoid falling objects and make them drop on your enemies instead. Apart from these obstacles, you sometimes need to collect keys to locked doors, and, of course, you'll need to find your way out by aligning the door to the opening. There are over a hundred fifty puzzling rooms set in colorful backgrounds that's sure to provide endless hours of dizzying and perplexing fun. Add the extremely great use of the iPhone's touch controls and the uniqueness of the concept - well, what's not to love?
Suggestions for improvement: An undo button and hints will come in handy when players get stuck in some rooms. More levels and environments would be great!
