What's good: If you love Super Text Twist, there's absolutely no doubt that you'll just as equally adore Wordulous! This game features the same letter-shuffling and word-forming concept, but with a more challenging set of words and a much better interface. The entire app is packaged in a traditional classroom environment, from the classic chalkboard background to the notepad tutorial. As you might expect, you're given several jumbled letters and your goal is to try to form as many words as you can before the timer ticks down to zero. To get you further in the game, you have several options: the Shuffle button rearranges letters, Cheat reveals a letter for every possible word, and the New Word option replaces your current letters with new ones, provided you are able to get at least five words or guess the longest word in the previous set. Not familiar with these types of games? No problem! Play in Practice mode for a relaxed yet stimulating experience, and once you get the hang of things, move on to Examination mode for a more fast-paced and challenging game. You can even invite Facebook friends or iPhone contacts to a truly exciting word battle! Perfect for both word game enthusiasts and first-time players, this app entertains, tests, and teaches all at once - that's a solid B+ in our grade book!
Suggestions for improvement: The game tends to favor a lot of three-letter acronyms which are not standard dictionary words.
