What's good: Get ready to have a blast with IUGO Mobile Entertainment's latest hit, Implode! This literally and figuratively explosive game takes place right on your traditional blackboard and lets you bomb chalk-drawn structures into smithereens. In every level, you're given a limited supply of dynamite which you have to place strategically to cause a collapse. A magnifying glass helps with precise placement, and a marker shows you the minimum height you have to achieve to pass a stage. Once you work out the weakest points of various buildings, drag out the available explosives to lock them in place, then hit the big red detonator and watch in delight as things crumble before your eyes. Try to get everything as low to the ground as possible using the least number of dynamite sticks you can - this way, you earn a bigger monetary payout for every successful completion. Apart from that, the game also grades your performance accordingly, reinforcing the classroom theme. The clever positioning of supports and wide variety of framework keep things challenging, not to mention that there are also a few elements - nearby buildings that you can't topple into, or solid bars you can't attach bombs onto - that force you to find a workaround and greatly contribute to the overall experience. Of course, the developers made sure to create three difficulty modes to allow gamers to play at a comfortable level. There's also a Sandbox mode which gives you an unlimited amount of bombs, unlockable through the IUGO VIP program where you first need to refer a friend. It shouldn't be too hard though, because this is one solid physics puzzler that makes use of a great concept and thoroughly proves the insane satisfaction of blowing things up!
Suggestions for improvement: The game could always use a greater diversity of elements - immovable pieces, magnetic parts, etc. A background soundtrack can keep things lively, too.
